Steelers defensive snap counts, preseason Week 2: Elandon Roberts makes strong return

There wasn’t much to love about the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ blowout preseason loss to the New York Jets, but there were definitely some positives worth mentioning, like veteran linebacker Elandon Roberts‘ return to action in the Black and Gold.
Thanks to the snap counts from the preseason matchup, fans can get a better idea of which players saw the most game time during the preseason Week 2 matchup against the Jets, including Roberts finding himself in the top five in snap percentage.

Roberts’ return was a huge one, as the standout linebacker made several big plays on defense, such as his fourth-down stop to give the Steelers a turnover on downs. His signing with Pittsburgh may have spelled the end for linebacker Malik Harrison, which is evident in the snap count, considering he didn’t see any playing time whatsoever.
